Occidental Praha is located on the Na Strži near Prague's biggest shopping malls, only 15 minutes by metro from the Old Town and 5 minutes from popular sport and leisure area Zlute Lazne. It offers free WiFi in the entire property. The house was renovated in 2016. All air-conditioned rooms provide a flat-screen satellite TV, WiFi, a coffee and tea making facilities, a hairdryer, a work desk and a safe. Some rooms feature a minibar, iron and ironing board and coffee machine. Guests of the Occidental Praha can enjoy the breakfast buffet as well as traditional Czech cuisine in Doré Restaurant. In the new lobby bar B Lounge, guests can enjoy a wide variety of wine, beer and spirits. Hotel guests can use hotel fitness. The metro station Budejovicka is 300 metres from the hotel, offering direct connection to the city centre. There, the National Museum, the Wenceslas Square and the famous Astronomical Clock can be found. Guarded parking will be provided on request, charges are applicable. Dogs can stay in the hotel only on request, maximum weight of the dog is 8 kg. Dogs over 8kg of weight will not be accommodated.

Overall everything was good, love that there was a gym on site. The closeness to transport was a plus as it is near to most of the attractions and sites in prague making our trip worth while. Daily room service was great which gives a clean feel when returning from a long day outdoors. I would definitely recommend the accessories with the room such as television (however more english channels needed),mini cooler, hair dryer, kettle and cupboard with hangers and safe to lock away items are all needed to make our stay greater. Thanks for having us 🙂

Prague is the capital city and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is located on the Vltava River in central bohemia. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. For those interested in art, history, classical music, and architecture, Prague is a must see. Beautiful buildings and architecture can be seen around every corner. The River Vltava runs through the middle of Prague. Many bridges span the river but it’s the Charles Bridge, which is pedestrianized that visitors are drawn to for its combination of Gothic construction and Baroque Statues. Here there are street vendors selling all sorts of things, and in the distance on the hill is the Castle, considered the historic nexus of the city. The Old Town Square is one of two main squares in Prague and where some of the main attractions of the city are located such as the Old Town Hall Tower, the Astronomical Clock, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn and St. Nicholas Church. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Prague's city center is a museum of 900 years' of architecture, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, 19th-century revivals of all of them, and Art Nouveau remain amazingly undisturbed by the 20th century.
